In order to promote the spirit of Chinese aesthetic education and enrich the artistic aesthetics and humanistic literacy of teachers and students, the university conducted the 2024 Graduation Season Lawn Symphony Concert of Sichuan University on the Wangjiang Campus on the evening of May 31st. More than 2000 people attended the concert, including President Wang Jinsong, Gao Jie (academician of the CAE) and Wang Yuzhong (academician of the CAE), leaders from the Publicity Department of the provincial Party committee, relevant school leaders, teacher representatives, and representatives of Class 2024 graduates.
The concert kicked off with the orchestral piece Ode to the Red Flag by the Sichuan Symphony Orchestra. The grand and powerful melody slowly resounded, telling the Chinese story vividly in the notes. In this warm, affectionate, and magnificent voice of glory, teachers and students felt the majestic and unyielding Chinese spirit.
Mellifluous and graceful, the representative work of Chinese style symphonic music, "Yao Dance," flows into everyone's heart like water. The lively and powerful melody leads teachers and students into the Yao village, as if dancing and celebrating with the Yao people, and enables the audience to feel the joy of the Chinese people in achieving a better life.
The exotic Polovtsian Dances brought back to teachers and students vivid and beautiful memories of the past and a feeling of the vitality and passion of youth.
The touching symphony moves the hearts of teachers and students, igniting everyone's enthusiasm! After a piece of music was played, the audience cheer continuedunabatedly.

The touching melody of the orchestral piece "I Love You, China" evokes profound emotions among teachers and students towards their motherland.
Youth is the most precious, and the stories of time are the most moving. The Story of Time, a song by SCU students to the accompaniment of the Sichuan Symphony Orchestra, was delicate and charming. The laughter and tears of youth, scenes of the past, slowly rippled in the song.
The concert ended in the grand chorus of Me and My Motherland. The entire audience waved the five-star red flag in their hands, singing loudly with the choir.
