On December 26, “The Chinese Hospital Presidents’ Forum on Improving Medical Services” was held in Beijing. Heads of provincial health systems, presidents of public hospitals, experts and scholars from all over the country gathered to have in-depth exchanges of ideas as to how to improve medical services.

The list of six awards, namely, the Most Satisfactory Medical Institutions / Departments / Medical Workers in 2020, the Most Exemplary Case of Improving Medical Services in China in 2020,the National Innovative President of Improving Medical Services in 2020 and the National Innovative Hospital of Improving Medical Services in 2020 were announced at the forum. WCSUH stood out from more than 2,000 effective cases in China, and won the "Most Exemplary Case" and the "Most Satisfactory Department by the Masses" in 2020. President Liu Hanmin won the honorary title of "Innovative President".

At the forum, President Liu Hanmin said in the keynote speech of "Remodeling Hospitals to Improve Medical Services" that medical services should not only start from the perspective of patients, but also from the aspects of medical staff and overall hospital management. On account of patients’ needs, WCSUH has further simplified the medical treatment process, reduced medical burden of patients, innovated the medical process management, and supervised the use of consumables during the whole procedure so that materials can better serve patients. Hence, WCSUH has achieved the maximum extension of medical services through automatic drug distribution and centralized intravenous drug preparation. We hope to further strengthen the application of the Internet in medical services, and realize the new trend of overall medical services based on 5G, with early warning as the core, mobile phone as the carrier, and convenience as the direction.
