On the occasion of the 127th anniversary of the founding of Sichuan University, many alumni and enterprises have made donations and sent their sincere wishes to the university.
On 27th September, Vice President You Jinsong met with Li Zaiwen, Vice President of Shenzhen Mindray Bio-medical Electronics Co. and witnessed the signing of the donation agreement. On behalf of the university,You Jinsong expressed his gratitude to Mindray for its continuous support to the university and stressed that West China School of Clinical Medicine insists on focusing on the frontiers of disciplines, and will deepen the cross-fertilisation of medicine and industry in the future to accelerate the development of high-quality talents in medical education. Li Zaiwen said that as a national brand, Mindray should take social responsibility and hope to support the development of the national medical cause through academic input and talent training, and looked forward to deeper exchanges between the two sides in the future in the field of medicine and education.
You Jinsong met with Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank of Luzhou, Mr You Jiang and his entourage, and witnessed the signing of the donation agreement. On behalf of the university, Mr You expressed his gratitude to Bank of Luzhou for its donation and support. You Jiang briefly introduced the development of Bank of Luzhou, and said that as a responsible local listed bank, Bank of Luzhou is willing to take the responsibility of supporting the cultivation of the country's leaders, and hoped that through the public welfare donations, it can promote and inspire young people to devote themselves to the medical career and make contributions to the society.

On the occasion of the 127th anniversary of the founding of the university,Sichuan Universality has received generous donations from alumni of the School of Mathematics Class 85 and 92,and the alumni of School of Chemical Engineering Class 99308032, Shang Shuyong, Mei Li, and the President (CEO) Alumni Association of the School of Business. The donations can support the high-quality development of the university through the establishment of scholarships, bursaries, cultural and sports activities, and so on.
