TheNational Undergraduate Electronics Design Contestis hosted by the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and it is organized by the organizing committee of the National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest. It has developed into the longest running, largest, and most influential disciplinary competition in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Information Technology since its establishment in 1994. The competition requires a foundation in electronic circuits and integrated circuit application and design. Coupled with teaching practice and current popular industry technologies such as new energy and AI, it aims to nurture in undergraduate students innovative awareness, collaborative spirit and hands-on capability, improving their comprehensive ability to design and produce electronic products in response to practical problems.

Contestants work in a centralized semi closed manner
The competition lasts for half a month. According to the requirements of the competition topic, the participating teams first produce the physical work and design a report in a "centralized and semi closed" manner within 4 days and 3 nights. After the work passes the test, the teams that have won the top 10% of the recommended national awards for each competition topic will undergo a comprehensive evaluation of the fully closed basic circuit design for another day. After the comprehensive evaluation, the teams with excellent results will participate in the overall evaluation of the National Undergraduate Electronic Design Competition.
Drawing upon the resources of the innovation laboratories of the College of Electrical Engineering and the provincial teaching demonstration center for Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering, a team of experts from the College of Electrical Engineering, College of Electronics and Information Engineering, andSchool of Aeronautics and Astronautics guided the students to do intensive training prior to the competition. The excellent competition results demonstrate the phased achievements of the university's long-term commitment to cultivating top-notch innovative talent. It is also an important manifestation of the relevant colleges' focus on disciplinary foundations and cutting-edge engineering.
