The 4th Teaching Master Award, Outstanding Teacher Award, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Award ceremony was held at Chongqing University on April 9th. Huang Zongxian has been dedicated to teaching for forty years and has trained a large number of outstanding talent in art history theory and art education for China. He has great passions for the cause of aesthetic education in schools and society. Over the past forty years, Huang Zongxian has achieved three perseverance: first, adhering to frontline teaching. He delves into undergraduate teaching, leads the establishment of multiple general courses of arts, vigorously participates in the national tour of ‘elegant art on campus’ organized by the Ministry of Education, and serves as the chief editor of the newly published Art Textbook for Compulsory Education by the People's Fine Arts Publishing House. The Outline of Chinese Art History, High School Art Appreciation, and Introduction to Art Studies won the first national textbook development award.

The Teaching Master Award, Outstanding Teacher Award, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Award are dubbed the "Three Teaching Awards" in China. They were established with donations from the China Teacher Development Foundation and the Shenzhen Chen Yidan Charity Foundation in 2019. Being the largest awards in higher education teaching, they are given out annually.
