On April 8, the signing ceremony for the Joint Laboratory of Chemical Materials by SCU and Huawei was held in the Innovation Center for Science and Technology, Sichuan University, and the Sichuan University Station of Huang Danian Tea House was officially launched. Zha Jun, President of Huawei's Central Research Institute, Li Jian, director of Chengdu Research Institute, President Li Yanrong of SCU, Vice President Chu Liangyin, and heads of relevant departments attended the opening ceremony.

On behalf of the university, Li Yanrong thanked Huawei for its long standing strong support and congratulated on the opening of Huang Dalian Tea House. He said that SCU and enterprises have carried out in-depth cooperation in building joint research centers and joint laboratories, and achieved fruitful results in recent years. The launching of Huang Danian Tea House will provide communication space for teachers and students of different disciplines and majors, as well as universities and enterprises. At the same time, we will avail ourselves of this opportunity to further deepen and expand bilateral cooperation and jointly promote the self-reliance and self-improvement of national science and technology.

In his speech, Zha Jun briefly reviewed the fruitful achievements of university - enterprise cooperation in recent years and briefly introduced the next cooperation plan. He said that Huawei gives high priority to its cooperation with Sichuan University and hopes to take the opening of Huang Danian Tea House as an opportunity to provide a better communication platform for scientific researchers of both sides to study and grow together.
