The 2020 National Science and Technology Award Conference convened at the Great Hall of the People on the morning of Nov.3. Sichuan University has won three second prizes.

The project "key technology and industrialization of Orlistat asymmetric catalytic total synthesis" led by Prof. Qin Yong of West China School of Pharmacy(WCSP) won the second prize of the State Technological Invention Award. The projects "establishment and clinical application of key technologies for early accurate diagnosis of lung cancer" led by Prof. Li Weimin of West China Hospital, and "key technology and industrialization of lipid nano pharmaceutical preparations for intravenous injection" led by Prof. Zhang Zhirong of (WCSP) won the second prize of theState Scientific and Technological Progress Awardrespectively.
