The Fengming Sichuan University Dance Competition kicked off on the Youth Square of Jiang’an campus on May 21.

Twenty-nine dance squads put up a stunning audio-visual show to the audience with their professional and dynamic dance movements. The dances Paper Fan Scholar and Stroll by the River and Mountain were full of elegance and charm, showcasing the youthful and vigorous spirits of the scholar. The mystic and solemn Ji Le Tian and Jin Xiu reproduced the magnificent beauty of the Han and Tang dynasties.Dreams of Enjoying the Cool Under the Grass was sincere and passionate, recalling the unparalleled national spirit and the greatness of chivalry.Sunrise and Valor expressed emotions, highlighting the ancient Chinese wisdom of the unity of heaven and man. The competition scene was packed with people. The wonderful performances of the dancers touched the heart of everyone in the audience, and there was thunderous applause after each dance.

After intense competitions, the Arts College and the College of Architecture and Environment won the first prize. The West China School of Medicine, College of Literature and Journalism (College of Journalism, College of Publishing), School of Public Administration, School of History and Cultures (School of Tourism, School of Archaeology and Museology) won the second prize. The West China School of Pharmacy, College of Computer Science, West China School of Stomatology, College of Materials Science and Engineering, College of Water Resources and Hydropower, and College of Foreign Languages and Cultures won the third prize.
