The Fifth China College Students’ ‘Internet Plus’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition ( hereafter referred to as “the Competition” ) Finals were held at Zhejiang University from October 12th to 15th . Chunlan Sun, vice premier of the State Council, attended the championship competition and visited the "college student entrepreneurship show" held in the same period.
Our university has garnered two gold awards and four silver awards. In addition, SCU has won the "Advanced Collective Award" for five consecutive years. What is more, SCU has obtained for the first time the "Advanced Collective Award" of the "path to building a common dream". In the last five competitions, SCU has won a total of 12 gold awards, ranking the 3rdnationwide
This year, six projects of our university have competed in the national finals. “For My Liver- Saving the liver failure in vitro support instrument” and “Gene Ark: Global leader of molecular cloning service” each won a gold medal in the category of higher education main. "Heart saving bridge - the world's first cardiovascular regeneration absorbable stent" won the silver medal of higher education main. “Nongyi - provider of agricultural management and security service " won the silver medal of “path to building a common dream”. “DT7-Lip, Tumor Tracker and Killer” and “Health Bank of Intelligence—the first choice for population health enhancement” each won a sliver award in the category of international track. Four teachers, including Ji Bao, Chunyan Cheng, Dan Su and Liming Wang, won the "Excellent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Tutor Award".
“The Competition” has attracted 4.57 million college students and 1.09 million teams from 4093 universities at home and abroad, and they represent 124 countries and regions. After a series of competitions: namely, preliminary contest at the university, provincial rematch, national semi-finals, the “Competition” committee board has awarded 121 projects the gold award and 286 silver awards. The proportion of gold awards is only one in ten thousand.
