Guide2Research has recently released the 2021 7th edition of Top Scientists Ranking for Computer Science & Electronics. Guide2Research is one of the leading portals for computer science research providing trusted data on scientific contributions since 2015. The ranking represents h-index, DBLP and citations values gathered by May 10th 2021.
53 Chinese scientists have made it to the list, and Zeshui Xu ranks 2nd among the mainland Chinese scientists.

The second verification step included a manual examination of each scientist’s list of publications on DBLP to ensure they are indeed authors of a significant number of computer science-related publications. According to statistics, 38 scientists from mainland China are on the top 1000 list. Among the top ten, nine are from universities, such as Sichuan University, the Westlake University and so forth, and one is from a well-known enterprise.
