The 15th National Conference on Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship (referred to as the "National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Annual Conference"), which was hosted by the Ministry of Education, was held at China University of Mining and Technology (Xuzhou) from May 12th to 14th. Over 1,300 representatives from more than 290 domestic universities, the Ministry of Education, local education authorities, the "National Innovation Plan" expert group, and industry attended the annual meeting. Five projects of Sichuan University were selected for this annual meeting and won five awards.

The project “Research on the Single Cell Level of Tumor Microenvironment and Invasion Mechanism of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma”, which Zhang Shunhao of the West China School of Stomatology was responsible for, excelled among 378 papers and won the "Excellent Academic Paper" award.

SCU won the Excellent Organization award; and three teachers, Cheng Wei, Ren Biao, and Yang Wenbin, won the "Excellent Instructor" award. The selected works for this annual conference cover remarkable projects in the fields of new medicine, new engineering, and new humanities, showcasing our school's exploration and achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship education reform.
The National Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Annual Conference, is an important annual exhibition and exchange opportunity under the auspices of the National Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Plan (also known as the "National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Plan").
