Being originally named “Blackbird Drama Society”, SCU Thunder Storm Drama Society was established in late 1970s. In early 1996, the drama society performed Thunder Storm and got Mr. Cao Yu’s attention. Thus, it got the name Thunder Storm. The society’s slogan is “Interpret classics and fervently seek originality”. Pursuing breakthroughs constantly, the society has played a large number of classical dramas and original works. Over the years, it has gradually perfected its new training system and improved its performance level. It is a creative and progressive society endowed with excellent actors.
