The finals of the 17th Challenge Cup, the national university student extracurricular academic science and technology work competition, were held online from March 26 to March 28. SCU students won two grand prizes, three first prizes and one third prize in the finals. SCU ranked thethird in terms of the number of grand prizes and the total score, achieving the best results in the university’s history. In addition, our university has won a grand prize in the recent "Unveiling and Commanding" special competition; four grand prizes in the "Red Special Activity"; one “Galaxy Level" title in the "Black Technology" special competition, the highest award of “Black Technology”, altogether a total of 7 special awards in the main competition and special competitions.
The Challenge Cup has been held once every two years since 1989. It has a widespread good impact in universities and the society as well. It is dubbed the "Olympic Games” of contemporary college students' scientific and technological innovation. This year is the 17th Challenge Cup competition.
