From May 6 to 13, the Sixth National College Students' Art Performance, which was jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, was held in Chengdu. SCU’s teachers and students won ten national awards, including four first prizes, one second prize, four third prizes, and one excellent organization prize. The total number of awards has reached a new high.

On May 6, Jiang Jinyi of the Wu Yuzhang Honors College spoke, as the only student representative, at the opening ceremony. He fully displayed the image of the students of Sichuan University.
