The 2019 award ceremony of " Influencing China ", which was hosted by China Newsweek, China News Service, was conducted in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse on Dec. 14. Shirui Wang, a Class 2006 alumnus of West China School of Stomatology, founder and CEO of Medical Association, and CEO of Penguin Almond Group ( Xingren Group ), won the 2019 award for Industry Innovation. His recognition also includes Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia and 2018 Hurun 30 × 30 Entrepreneurial Leaders ( Hurun Report ).

In addition, Chong’en Bai, Dean of School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University and Mansfield Freeman chair professor; Mingzhu Dong, Chairman and President of Gree Electric Appliances, Inc. of Zhuhai; and Ziqi Li, the Content creator, won the honor of " Influencing China ", 2019. Shirui Wang is the only winner of “ Influencing China ” for Internet medicine. Up to now, Ma Yun ( Jack Ma ), Yang Chen-Ning, Shi Yigong, Bai Yansong, Mo Yan, Shan Jixiang and other social celebrities have won the title of " Influencing China ". Several media including Toutian.com has also reported on this.

Speaking of the honor, Wang indicated that he would like to thank West China School of Stomatology for the cultivation of both his professional skills and humanistic literacy. The eight years of study in Stomatology was very valuable for him, and it also helped him make up his mind regarding his career trajectory -- to be a service provider and promoter of the medical reform.In the future, he will lead the Medical Association to continue to work in the field of chronic disease management and build a model of Internet medicine so as to serve doctors and patients, bringing benefits to the society.
