In order to track SCU’s progress in its global academic influence and learn about the contributions that individual second-tier work units have made towards SCU’s global academic influence, we have collected data (2012 to 2021) in the Web of Science database and assigned all papers to the 22 disciplines and second-tier work units of SCU. Then, we have counted the citation numbers of individual papers and calculated the contribution level from different second-tier work units. Being the collaboration work between the university library and the Development and Planning Division (World-Class University Development Office), this report is for the reference of university leaders and relevant second-tier work units.
