According to the guiding principles of the notice “Opinions on Standardizing the Use of Relevant Indicators of SCI Papers and Establishing Correct Evaluation Guidance in Colleges and Universities” by MOE and MOST of the People's Republic of China,colleges anduniversities should avoid the tendency of only focusing on thesis, label, professional title, education background and awards in academic evaluation. Instead, we should develop an evaluation system that attaches importance to teacher’s morals and integrity, real learning, and quality and contribution. Having analyzed the latest Clarivate Analytics data on academic subjects and compared the rankings of some Chinese universities, our department hereby provides this report for university administrators’ reference.
