The fourth quarter Improving Medical Services Action National Hospital Competition final took place in Qingdao, Shandong Province recently. This competition was organized by the health community under the guidance of the Medical Administration, National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China. West China Second Hospital of our university won the "Top Ten National Cases" award in the 2018 final.

The National Health Commission launched the “Further Improve Medical Services Action Plan (2018-2020)” this year. This competition final has gathered outstanding cases from six competition regions, namely, north China, northeast, east China, central and south, southwest and northwest. According to the five dimensions of scientificity, innovation, effectiveness, influence and promotion, the case of "Internet hospital exploration and innovation" at West China Second Hospital was selected as the top ten cases of theme five: "Internet + medical health" innovation and promotion. In the final of the theme contest, this case has won the second place in 363 contestants on the theme.
