West China School of Basic Medical Sciences and Forensic Medicine: Almost 60% of the 2019 Graduating Class Will Proceed to Graduate Program

Of the 75 undergraduates in the graduating class of SCU West China School of Basic Medical Sciences and Forensic Medicine, 35 students have been admitted respectively to a graduate program of Peking University, Tsinghua University, Peking Union Medical College, Fudan University and 8 students to Yale University, Karolinska Institute, and so on. As of this report, nearly 60% of the 2019 graduating class of West China School of Basic Medical Sciences and Forensic Medicine will proceed to a graduate program at home and abroad.

West China School of Basic Medical Sciences and Forensic Science has taken a series of measures to build first-class disciplines and the best medicine. For instance, all the school administrators serve as a head teacher and speak with students every month. The school also implements an "advisor" system so that each student can get academic advice. In addition, the school organizes high-level academic activities, among others, to create a strong academic atmosphere. In the future, the School will focus on boosting the rate of students seeking further education, improving the quality of students training, and developing a number of "golden courses" in its core curriculum. Furthermore, the School will intensify exchanges and cooperation and broaden students' international horizons in order to lay the foundation for students to become first-class talents with international competitiveness.
