Being sponsored by gsdata.cn, the "2019 Qingbo Festival and AI Summit of New Media Big Data" opened on December 8th, 2018 in Beijing. With the theme of "New energy- intelligent integration- progress together", many experts, scholars and professionals from various fields attended the summit and shared their thoughts on communication, operation and transformation in the new media era, and discussed the deep integration and future trend of big data and industries. At the meeting, the organizer also presented the 2018 National Ministries and Committees Award, Central Media Award, Provincial Issues Award, and New Media Communication Award. SCU has won the "2018 New Media Communication Award for Colleges and Universities".
In recent years, Sichuan University has done its utmost to develop and construct an all-media platform with "one network, three micros" (news network, micro-blog, Wechat, micro-video) as the core, actively promoting an all-media structure characterized by the integration of new media and traditional media. Adhering to the principle of "content is king", SCU media has elaborately created network columns, strengthening topic selection and planning, and producing high-quality content. Sensational news articles, each with more than 100,000 visits, have been published from time to time. Many reports have been widely reproduced by important social media such as People's Daily, Xinhua Net, CCTV Net and Ifeng.com. SCU has had remarkable results in its construction of new media, and won many awards, ranking in the forefront in the new media of colleges and universities in China.
From 2015 to 2017, SCU won the highest honor of "Top Ten Educational Government New Media" in the construction of new media in the national education system for three consecutive years. In July 2017, SCU obtained the honor "National Top Ten Operational Innovation Award for New Media in Universities" by China Youth Daily and China University Media Alliance. In August 2018, China Youth Daily named SCU "2017 to 2018 Top Ten Official Micro-blog, Wechat, Micro-Video of Chinese Universities".
