In order to improve the living conditions of students and realize the goal of 4-2-1(One dormitory room for either four undergraduates, or two master students or one doctoral student respectively), a work team consisting of personnel from the Development and Planning Division, the logistics department, and the Capital Construction Department made trips to the field to learn about the situation and verify the statistics. In accordance with “Sichuan University development scheme of the 14thFive-Year Plan” and “Sichuan University infrastructure development scheme of the 14thFive-Year Plan”, the team surveyed and calculated the student dormitories at the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan. The investigation was meant to anticipate problems and plan early.The report provides reference for university leadersand relevant departments.
