As of late October 2017, all four major world university rankings (QS, USNEWS, THE, ARWU) had been publicized for year 2017.This report introduces and analyzes the performances of Sichuan University (SCU) in the four major rankings, and puts forward some suggestions to improve SCU rankings. The report has four parts: First, SCU performances in the four major world university rankings; second, benchmarking SCU performance metrics in the four major world university rankings; third, indicator analysis of factors to improve SCU rankings in the four major world university rankings; fourth, suggestions on improving SCU rankings in the future.
