Recently, Clarivate Analytics (former Thomson Reuters) has released the latest ESI (Essential Science Indicators) rankings. Immunology of Sichuan University (SCU) has been ranked in the top 1% for the first time. And the numbers of SCU academic subjects ranked in the top 1% , top 5‰, and top 1‰are 15, 6 and 2 respectively. Besides, Psychiatry / Psychology has ranked in the top 1% since November 2017. We have analyzed the ESI rankings of academic subjects from 42 universities under the construction of “Double First-Class” status for the reference of university administrators.
