Clarivate Analytics has publicized its latest ESI statistics. Compared with the previous statistics, the number of disciplines of SCU ranking in the top 1% of ESI remains 16, tied for the 8th place among all the “Double First-Class” construction universities. This means that SCU has dropped by a spot. Disciplines ranking in the top 5‰ have reached 9, which is one more than last time. Neuroscience and Behavioral Science has made it into the top 5‰ for the first time, tied for the eighth place, which is one place up. Disciplines ranking in the top 1‰ remain 3, the 8th place among “Double First-Class” construction universities. In this report, we have also compared and analyzed the ESI rankings of 42 “Double First-Class” construction universities in China for the reference of university administrators.
