Work was carried out on all fronts regarding the construction of “double first-class” status at “double first class” universities throughout 2018. 2019 will see the mid-term evaluation of the “double first-class” construction and the fifth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education. Hereby, we have managed to obtain core development statistics concerning universities under the “double first-class” construction. The statistics provide progress information in the fields such as talent training, faculty development, scientific research, cultural inheritance and innovation, international exchanges and cooperation for the reference of the university administrators.
