SCU Obtains 5 Major Bidding Projects of National Social Science Fund of China

The National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences has announced the 2018 key projects of National Social Science Fund of China recently ( hereinafter referred to as NSSFC ). Five SCU projects get approved, which puts Sichuan University in the eighth place among Chinese universities nationwide.

NSSFC started to accept applications for major bidding projects in July this year. After evaluations by experts at the university, SCU has submitted 22 projects for approval. Then, the National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences organized expert review, social publicity before sending them to the leaders for approval. Our university has got five projects ( the list of projects is attached)

In addition, Sichuan university has got four major special projects approved by NSSFC ( the list is attached ).

The leaders of planning office established NSSFC major bidding projects in 2004. These are the highest-level social science projects that receive the most support and are the most authoritative in China. NSSFC has issued 364 bidding topics for major projects, and 339 projects were approved for establishment in 2018.
